"But sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence" 1 Peter 3:15
Every believer should be searching the Scriptures daily, seeking to see the Savior as He is, living sanctified and satisfied this side of Heaven. The Core exists to encourage and aid believers in living this way. As Christ orders our core, we are ready to share with everyone that we meet the living hope that is within us.
In this demanding, external-driven society, many never pause to consider the heart of man. Countless numbers are only concerned with the elements of the external. If circumstances are prosperous visibly, then others acknowledge that all must be well. Scripture clearly does not teach this message.
At the Core, we are most concerned with the heart. Life is lived from the inside out. Who you are is not determined by what you are on the outside, but by what you are on the inside. Believers are to be consistently examining themselves, keeping Christ as Lord of the Core.
May God give us the grace to be conscious Christians. As we daily spend time with God, setting Him apart as the Lord of our heart, He will make us ready for everyone we meet. And as Christ orders our hearts, we will truly live satisfied, to the glory of God.
